Concrete Curb and Gutter Forms

Send Inquiry/Place Order

Curb and gutter forms by OHIO FORMS are designed and built for maximum efficiency, accuracy, versatility, and durability. A basic set of back and front forms can be used to produce a wide variety of curb and gutter styles, with the simple change of division plates and/or face forms.

Concrete CURB AND GUTTER FORMS FOR STRAIGHT WORK

  • These OHIO FORMS are made from rugged 10 gauge steel, for strength and durability.
  • Back and front forms are stackable for extra versatility.
  • Both back and front forms are available without slots, or with slots at one-foot intervals, for easy insertion of division plates where desired.
  • Flanged channel type design of back and front forms, with full 3" wide heads and bases on back concrete forms (2" on front forms), provides strength and rigidity. Only two stakes per 10' section are required, speeding up installation time.
  • Set-up time is further reduced with fixed sleeve connections on both back and front forms. Continuous flat surfaces across form joints are assured.
  • Face forms are available with sliding lock connectors for early stripping and hand finishing prior to removal of back and front forms.
  • All forms available in standard or custom sizes/configurations.
  • Division plates are securely keyed in to segment the concrete, as well as support and position the face forms.
  • Ask about division plate price discounts when ordering together with forms.

SUPPORTING THE Concrete FORMS

Each complete 10' section of curb and gutter requires 2 face curb form supports. These can be either 2 full depth division plates (for 5' blocks); 1 full depth and 1 skeleton plate (for 10' blocks); or 2 skeleton plates for continuous section (without joints).

Usually it is specified that the curb and gutter slab be broken at 10' intervals. Full depth division plates used every 10' provides one of the two required supports for every face form section. The other support is normally a skeleton plate.

DIVISION PLATE OPTIONS

Division Plate Options
Full depth plates segment the curb and gutter while tying the back, front, and face forms together.
Division Plate Options
Partial depth plates create planes of weakness for controlled cracking.
Division Plate Options
Skeleton plates (or hangers) provide necessary support for the face form with minimum depth scoring (about 1" deep). Scoring is easily filled in with grout while hand finishing.

Division Plate Options
Adjacent curb plates permit using the back form and
face form to place a curb next to an existing slab.
Division Plate Options
Roll type plates (made to your specifications)
use standard back and front forms,
eliminating the need for a face form.
